About ATS

"All Things Sound" was first conceived during the Eighties as a way of publishing personal work in various areas of interest with a clear identity but on a local basis and with minimal costs. The development of the internet offered an exciting prospect for the development of this method of publishing.

Following my relatively early retirement from public service, I was able to develop a long-standing interest in web technology. Building on contacts amongst friends and colleagues who needed to develop a presence on the "World Wide Web", the vision grew to start a company that could provide sound technology and attractive design at affordable prices. The aim was particularly to encourage individuals and small businesses to develop through using the internet.

Despite having moved to the wild beauty of Perthshire, ATS has benefited from the drive to bring modern technology to the rural areas of central Scotland with an excellent broadband connection. At the same time, the inspiring and unspoiled environment constantly inspires and encourages the creative process.
